As adults age, their executive function may change and slow down, making it harder to analyze, plan, organize, schedule, and complete tasks. Simple things, like misplacing keys or phones, losing your train of thought, or struggling to follow conversations and remember names, can become more challenging. Seniors often find that tasks take longer to complete, including learning new things. Additionally, coping with change can become difficult, leading others to perceive them as “easily frustrated.” Join us to learn more about executive function, its impact, and strategies to stay engaged!
